iBiza got 18 which is a great achievement considering it's size. The Balearics as a whole got 61.

They awarded over 3000 flag to thirty six countries across the world including South Africa, New Zealand and the Caribbean. I'd hate to be a judge on that panel. The flag is a symbol of quality.

Beaches are awarded the flag through strict criteria dealing with water quality, environmental education and information, environmental management, and safety and other services.

In iBiza the beaches with blue flags are - Cala Tarida, Cala Conta, Cala Bassa, Cala DHort, Cala Migjorn Cala Vadella, Cala Llenya, es Canar, Cala Llonga, Santa Eulalia beach and es Figueral. San Miguel, Cala San Vicent, Portinax and Benirras, Cala Gracio, es Calo des Moro and es Pouet.
