Space first opened in 1989, it used to be a conference hall. When it started providing entertainment it wasn't a dance club but instead it put on live bands and Flamenco shows.In 1991 Alex P, who was working at the club, came up with the idea to put a set of decks behind the bar outside and play to the people enjoying a quiet drink on the chill-out terrace. Two years he was joined by Brandon Block and the Space Terrace was born!

Every top DJ in the world has now played Space. It's a world class clubbing venue.

The flagship night at Space is "We Love Sundays" it starts at 8 in the morning Sunday and goes on right through until six the following Monday. The music is provided by the best House and Progressive DJ's each and every weekend throughout the season.

The capacity of the venue is around 5-6k.

The music at Space is predominantly House.

Space isn't cheap. It'll got you about 40 to get in with a flyer. A bit cheaper if you go earlier on a Sunday but then you have to buy drinks which are also expensive and you're only allowed on pass out.

You don't need to be into clubbing or house music to enjoy Space's fantastic atmosphere and continental vibe.
