Benidorm has many mountains surrounding the town, this makes the weather in the city much more favorable. The city is shielded by the mountains which creates a lovely mild winter. Many tourists will visit the city during the summer, there is a lot to see during the day and a vibrant and vivid nightlife at night.

Tips for Traveling in Spain

Many people will fly in through Alicante Airport when they visit Benidorm. As soon as you arrive you have several options as to how you can travel around the area. There is a bus which runs frequently between the airport and the city. There is also a train which runs a similar route, however you first have to get to the city. There are also around 20 car rental companies that operate in the city. These will all collect you from the airport and drop you back, just remember to tell them when you book your hire car.

The option you chose for travel will depend on how much travelling you intend to do during your holiday. If you plan to do a lot of travelling throughout the areas then the best bet would be to hire a car. This will also allow you a lot of freedom when travelling around the area. If you plan to stay in the city for most of your holiday then you might want to not get a car and just rely on public transport.

Benidorm has attractions which are suitable for everyone, from young to old. There are also many theme parks which are of interest to teenagers and some adults. Single people are also well catered for, they will enjoy spending time on the beaches and the exciting nightlife. Golfers also have a lot of choice about which golf course to play on.

The city has 3 very popular beaches, one of the most popular is the Playa de Levante, this basically means the rising beach. This beach is much more secluded than most and attracts quite young people. This is also a topless beach. The Playa de Poniente is a much user beach and attracts lots of families. There is also a smaller beach in between these two known as Playa Mai Pas. Any of the three will allow you to enjoy the beautiful Benidorm weather.

No traffic is allowed onto the main street of the beach, this makes it a very enjoyable place to walk. There are also many restaurants, bars and clubs. It's very busy during the day and the night, especially during the summer.

There is a 30 mile train journey called the Lemon Express, which takes you along the cost of Spain from Benidorm. This train ride has some amazing views, the Spanish countryside is very beautiful.

You should spend some time researching what is available in Benidorm, and the surrounding areas. It's a good idea to find this information out when planning your vacation. If you plan properly then you will be able to make sure you have a really fun time on your holiday.
