Traveling by car

Traveling by car is a popular way to get where you need, during your holiday; make sure that you clean your car thoroughly before heading for your destination, otherwise you will risk having no place for your luggage. Also, you will need to think ahead a bit and provide your glovebox with some first aid objects like: pills for headaches and colds, bandages and antiseptic solutions, and, of course, some after tanning lotions. If you have long hair, a good idea is to take some scrunchies with you as they will prove useful on the beach. Also, you will need to check your tires and make sure that you have enough oil, just to avoid any delaying on the road. Take a map with you, you may need it later.

Kids on holiday: a burden or a blessing?

Taking the kids with you on a holiday is rather stressful; they can become very excited, especially when they will hear that you are going to the beach. Lack of movement in the car will make them nervous, so you need to keep them busy by playing some games. Traditional word games can be amazing when the whole family plays.

Don't forget the UV protection

Exposing yourself to sun has many risks and you will always need to protect yourself by using lotions designed especially for UV protection. Also avoid exposing yourself for a long time during 10:00 am and 4.00 p.m.; when tanning, use a sunblock and also make sure that you replace it after swimming. When going to the beach, a good thing is to bring thin towel as they are easy to carry and use. Sunglasses are also a main object that needs to be packed on holiday, just to make sure that your eyes are protected. Don't neglect your feet and avoid walking on the hot sand barefoot.

Just take care of a few small problems before going to the beach to make sure that you will enjoy your vacation. When coming back you will have wonderful memories and your batteries charged. Your kids will surely ask you when the next vacation will be.
